Photoshop Beginner Class
This class will be in Downtown Kansas City at the Screenland Theater Crossroads, Saturday, May 4th from 8am-3pm with lunch provided. Sign up by April 15th and receive the early bird price of $119! Learn RAW workflow in Adobe Bridge and how to perfect images in Photoshop. Bringing your own computer with Photoshop CS3 or newer is required. This class will be helpful to any one with a camera or in the post-production industry (or both!): bloggers, moms, beginner photographers, Etsy shop owners, business owners, or maybe you use Photoshop at your job & would like a little more confidence in what you’re doing. Photo Class 2 – Using on-camera flash
Our on-camera lighting class will be at our studio in Lee’s Summit, Tuesday, April 9th from 6pm – 9pm. For just $79, learn all about using on-camera lighting including fill flash, main light flash, bounce flash, and more! You will learn how to adjust your flash settings to get the correct amount of light. It’s recommended to bring a Canon Flash 430 model & newer (having TTL & Manual modes). It is NOT required to have a flash for the class. We will have some available to borrow during the class. Most people have no idea how to use their external flash correctly when they first purchase it. When you leave this class, you’ll have all the knowledge you need to use your flash to your advantage & probably some Ah-Ha! moments. We will be shooting inside and outside so bring a coat in case it’s still snowing (let’s hope not). Practice shooting on Manual mode because that will be required during class. Whats program setting anyway?
Photo Class 2 – Studio Lighting
Our studio lighting class will be at our studio in Lee’s Summit, Thursday, April 25th from 6pm – 9pm. For just $79, learn all about using studio lighting including reflectors, soft box, umbrella, ring light and more! Having studio lighting knowledge can really benefit you because it is a controlled environment We will teach how to control it correctly. You will learn how to create all different lighting set ups. First half of the class we will build different lighting set ups and second half we will take requests for different lighting and answer all your questions. We will obviously not be shooting outside so you can wear a swim suit even if it’s snowing! (that’s a joke. please do not show up in a swim suit.)
Our classes are small so each student should get every one of their questions answered. However, we love teaching so much that we do offer one-on-one time! Contact us if you’re interested.
